InDesign on terminal server 2019

Dear,

A customer of ours wants to install Adobe Indesign on a Terminal server.

Just to make some simple texts/folders, nothing heavy.

Even if it's not supported by adobe, is it possible to install this and is it possible with the licensing/model of adobe that these users can use this application on terminal server 2019?

Do we use Indesign CC licenses or is it a special license?

Kind regards,

Thomas

I am afraid, Adobe InDesign Desktop App is supported on selected builds of Windows and Mac OS and not on Server OS.
Running InDesign on a terminal server is not supported.

As mentioned above, InDesign server can be installed on Microsoft® Windows Server 2016 and Windows Server 2019.

Regards!

Yeah, an interface would be needed!

Is it possible to install Indesign CC on a terminal server? Will it work and are we allowed to use it this way?

It's only to get 5 people to work on terminal server with Indesign.

I suppose the OP is asking something related to the following discussion, where an Adobe employee has responded that this would be implemented in version 14. So it should be done, i don't have any specific experience on this as to how these systems would difer from the normal installation and what would be the license implications. Maybe Srishti could shed some light on that.

I don’t think Indesign Server is what this end user needs. For a start it has no user interface.
