InDesign; when trying to use Object Export Options nothing happens or InDesign closes

When I go to use Object Export Options either nothing happens or InDesign closes. Currently running InDesign 17.3 on Win 10

    Did you get help with this? I am unable to open Object Export Options without InDesign closing, too.

    The Object Export Options feature is for doing things like adding Alt text to images, tagging PDFs and more – what are you hoping to do?

    Perhaps you want  File > Export then selecting a Format from the drop-down menu.

    Agree with Derek's reply, assuming it's just an issue with the one feature in one document. If problems seem more widespread, you may want to rebuild your InDesign preferences: https://creativepro.com/rebuilding-indesign-preferences/
