Locked objects

Problem moving objects. Error symbol appears and when I release the mouse the object jumps off the page. I have the same problem when I move layers, pages, etc. I feel like something is "locked". I have restarted, updated software, etc. But the problem persists.

Thank you, the problem is solved. The cause of the problem was that we had a second screen connected to the device.

Exact version of InDesign and OS?

Start by resetting preferences and clearing the InDesign cache folder. See Reset InDesign Preferences and Other Troubleshooting
