Mac Mini (M4) Display Issues, White Flashes, and Lags
Mac Mini Display Issues, White Flashes, and Lags.
Adobe InDesign Version 21.5.1. // Mac Mini 2024 (M4) mac OS Tahoe 26.6.2
A Mac Mini set up completely from scratch, with no data transferred from old devices.
I open InDesign documents that were created last week on the old computer (there were no issues there). When I open the file (I’ve also tried other files, including newly created ones), I sometimes experience white flashes when zooming or moving placed objects; sometimes entire text frames disappear when zooming, or the zoom takes about 2 seconds. These errors occur regardless of whether GPU performance is enabled or disabled.
Various monitors have already been connected and tested, as well as different ports (HDMI or DisplayPort).
InDesign's display performance has already been tested using the “Typical,” “Fast,” and “High Quality” settings. In addition, the monitors' color profiles were adjusted, and different variations were tested. The ruler in InDesign was also turned off. Dynamic spell check and Live Preflight have been turned off.
Can anyone help?
