Publish Online | Extremely slow | InDesign 17.4

Hi, since a couple of days loading of our published documents is extremely slow. Has anybody else experienced this and, if so, is this an Adobe server issue? Maintenance? Docs that were previously loading in a sec now take almost ten to half a minute to load... Fingers crossed this is temporarily and quickly resolved.

This is an ongoing issue for us as well. This is one example:

https://indd.adobe.com/view/f35f5a8e-04b1-4cd1-9321-77ee75c32520

All the backgrounds have been optimized and there are not any links within the document that are large in size so I'm not sure what is going on.

Hi @jenniferb81477871,

Our product team informed us that the fix is ready for testing in the pre-production environment. I have shared the steps with you via DM for testing the fix. Please follow those steps & share the outcome.

Hi. Using Indesign 18.1 on a Mac and having the same issues with publish online. What is the fix?

@Rishabh_Tiwari
The links do load faster a now, so thank you for that.

I still though have a problem with the publishing itself.
It's just keeps stuck on here: 'preparing you document to be published online..."

Can you look at this? Because it's preventing me from working and giving out the treatment to the clients.

Hi @Pelican25272736ahqp ,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Could you confirm if it is happening on specific or multiple files? Does it remain stuck, or you're able to publish the link after some time?

There’s a new problem thats appeared. Don’t know if anyone else getting
this, but where animation starts, am getting a pre- appearance of the
object flashing up before the animation starts.

We tested a few links shared in this discussion and they are working fine on our end, so could you please share a few links which are still not working at your end?

@Rishabh_Tiwari, the links originally shared by me, still don't load properly.
Also see my previous reply with the video showing the long load time.

We are having the same problems with all of our accounts, multiple files etc. As described its the loading of the published file on the reciever's end that is too long...

Yes, Adobe did, to be fair, briefly attempt to engage with us and fix the
problem. We had a very helpful chap promising an imminent fix yesterday,
unfortunately because Adobe wasn't able to actually test their own fix they
are under the impression that it was successful and the staff concerned
have probably all now been promoted to senior management. It's not clear
whether Adobe is still aware that there is a problem.

However in the meantime you may be lucky enough to have a *community
expert* tell
you that you shouldn't be using this service, you'll probably find that
extremely comforting at this troubling time.

I would suggest continually posting here and on their SM / Twitter as there
is a small but nonzero chance that someone at Adobe may, eventually,
eventually notice this issue again, maybe.
