Seite-vorwärts/zurück-Buttons navigieren entgegengesetzt

Hallo Community,

Hi @NKFG:

That's my best guess. I've been looking for a solution to this for you—and there must be one—but I don't have direct experience with this and I can't find any way to reverse the page order. I'm not saying it can't be done, I'm just saying I can't figure it out, but hopefully someone else will come along to help.

If it were me, I would just copy the content to a new InDesign file, load the styles, copy master page items and quickly rebuild the document. (If you decide to go that route, test the export and direction before you spend much time reformatting though.) A rebuild should be quick if you are proficient with InDesign, and should take care of the problem.

Well, I guess we're pretty much at the same page with that. If the direction got revered it hast to possible to reset it anyhow. But I did'nt find any option for it either.

The copying from one to a all new InDesign file would be my last option I guess. But I'm trying to avoid this, cause we're to damn close to produce / print the thing. It has many layers and pages – and just want to avoid to produce little errors or changes in the process, that could went through unseen and getting printed.

If the arrow-direction-issue doesn't confuse the pre-press- and printing software somehow, I guess it's less dangerous to just live with it.

But the knowlegde it's there might hunt me quite a bit. 😛

Hey Barb,
thanks for your fast reply.

I suspected that as well already. Sadly I cannot verify its origin for sure, because there are many different parties involved.

Cheers from Madrid

Hi @NKFG:

Could the file have been originally created using an ME (Middle East) version of InDesign?
