Unable to restore UI SCALING preferences in InDesign

Hi there!

New to InDesign and I am having problems storing my UI scaling preference. I'm having to change it each time I open up the program.

Restoring the default preferences by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + ALt gets no response.

Please help a newbie.

Thank you for reaching out and using InDesign. Sorry to hear you're experiencing the UI scaling issue with InDesign. Would you mind trying the steps suggested below?

  • Close all Adobe applications and manually reset preferences by renaming the folders from the following locations:
    Windows:
    C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Adobe
    C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Adobe
  • Rename the InDesign folder to InDesign.old and launch InDesign from the Creative Cloud app.
