Question

What is this yellow symbol that can't be deleted and is attached to some type and images

I've inherited a document to work on at it has these little symbols throughout, some attached to nothing, some to text and some to images. I can select them but not delete, right click reveals nothing about then just the optiosn for what they are attached to.

Google is no help, can't find anything searching on here either.

Anyon know what they are

"can select them but not delete, right click reveals nothing"

What about double-clicking on them?

Nothing, even when you single click on it you are actaully just clicking through it to whatever it sits on.

Could well be the symbols for imported PDF comments?

No it's not that or adobes own comments.

TBH I've used a InDesign since pacemaker and think I know pretty much everything about it but this one has stumped me. Even a google image search turn ups nothing.

@5286520 is correct.

It's a technology preview, which most of us don't find very useful:

It's not - I had already checked that - I have no autostyle packs installed.
I have download one and applied it to some text and don't get that icon. Deleted it and the icons are all still there.

As I say they are fixed to images in some cases

Dont think so.

It's not even attached to text. Some of the icons are attached to pictures and other just a blank page with no content.
