Question

Will online published documents be affected?

Since a few days ago we received an email informing that in February 2024, synced Creative Cloud files will stop working as before.

We are currently using the Publish Online panel to upload designs and get a link, which allows external users to view those designs. Our concern is whether the documents that we upload to the InDesign panel online and obtaining the links, will also be affected by this new update? If we are harmed, how does this change affect us?

Thanks!

No, not with this announcement. The only functionality that is affected, is using the cloud space as a cloud disk access space via Finder or File Explorer. I used it basically to synchronize data between my different sites, but I can also use OneDrive (Microsoft) or Dropbox (or similar) for this. Other functionalities, like the libraries, cloud documents etc will still work (for the moment).

To be honnest, the file synching did not work very efficiently. I do not think that it hits my productivity.
