Adding images to public gallery with dividers ruins order

1. I create a gallery from a Collection in Lightroom Classic

2. I add dividers to this gallery using the web-based editor

3. If I then add more images to the Collection in Lightroom Classic, the images appear at the bottom of the gallery.

4. This is fine but all the divider locations seem to be pegged to how many images they are from the bottom -  not the top - so all the dividers move up.

Example - just added five images to a Collection that is the source for a gallery with 16 dividers.  The dividers all shifted up five images (though some of them were now empty somehow). This meant dragging the first five images from each section up and back into their original section.  Fifteen times.

On Mac 11.5.2, LRC 11.0.1, usig Chrome Version 96.0.4664.93.

These issues would appear to be very similar to issues reported in February of this year - see https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-ecosystem-cloud-based-discussions/lightroom-web-gallery-ordering-problems/m-p/11835609#M37556 - which have thus been reported to Adobe. I've provided a link to this new thread to one of the Adobe engineers, hopefully he will be able to provide an update (or I will if he responds directly to me).

I did an awful lot of testing of the issues (it's a very complicated proble, in view of the number of potential apps involved), and I think some changes were made but it would obviously seem that there are still things to solve. I did find that I could keep things "clean" by ensuring that I only added new images to a shared and divided album via LrClassic, but it would seem that the "workaround" no longer works consistently.

Hopefully we'll get a response soon from Adobe. If I have time over the next few days I'll try to rerun some of the initial testing that I did in February.

Same problem here, but with a twist. Steps:

1. Same

2. Same

3. Images appear at the top of the album, and the order from the top to the bottom is the first divider, then all photos, and then all the other dividers (no photos there). I had only about 30 photos on that album. Looks like a bug, makes sections not usable on albums where photos are added in small patches.

So, practically this destroys all the work done to split photos to sections and every photo not belonging to the first section must be moved after every sync (as section dividers can't be dragged back).
