Blurb Book module in Lightroom, quality issues

I have made many Blurb books over the past (10?) years or so but recently the quality of the books has become really bad. I’m constantly having to contact their customer service to have books reprinted because of errors (like lines, misaligned color plates, dark images (same file on cover printing a stop darker than in interior of book, second printing of books completely different color to first “test” printing etc) or even just the books getting crushed in their packaging before they get to me?
Why does adobe continue the relationship with such bad quality? Does anyone have any recommendations for other book printing services? (I have used MILK in NZ who are really good but very expensive)?

    Honestly, this is not a question about Lightroom or Lightroom Classic, but a question about Adobe business decisions, and I seriously doubt you will get an answer from Adobe. It seems out of place in this forum.

    Well, “BOOK” is a module in Lightroom, and the only option to make a book is using Blurb so I think it’s a reasonable question to ask about peoples experience with the quality of the books they produce.

    In Australia I have never had a problem with my Blurb books quality, however, postage rates for one book are now ~AU$70 - 80  (a major cost!) so now Blurb gets a miss from me.

    I can use the Lr-Classic Book Module to design a book and Export the pages to JPG files that I can then use with another book publisher. A PDF export is also possible.

    @as73

    This is the Photoshop forum. Can you please post to the Lightroom forum?
