Catalog Crashing when opening

Question

I have all of my work photos in a catalog. I have automatic backups turned on and while exiting it out started the backup then I canceled it because I was in a rush. Then lightroom crashed. Now every time I try to go back in lightroom it will start showing images and loading and then crash. I am on MacBook Pro and using the latest updated version.
