When I click on the circle to do some masking,suddenly I can't open safari,my browser anymore.

When I leave masking tool,all is well???

anybody a solution?

No such issues on this end with Safari or Lightroom Classic.

Try resetting your Lightroom preferences:

Quit Lightroom Classic.
macOS: Press and hold the Shift + Option keys.
Windows: Press and hold the Shift + Alt keys.
While holding down the keys, launch Lightroom Classic.
When asked, select "Yes".

1. Do the LR menu command Help > System Info and copy/paste the entire contents here so we can see exactly which versions of hardware and software LR thinks you're running.

2. If resetting preferences doesn't help, try starting your Mac in safe mode and seeing if the problem occurs then:

Starting in safe mode is the only way to temporarily disable LR's use of the graphics processor by AI masking, since Adobe stubbornly refuses to provide an option that will let you disable it.

If the problem doesn't occur in safe mode, than that strongly indicates an issue with your graphics processor.
