DJI Mini 5 Pro DNG raw files - does not show Adobe Landscape, Adobe Vivid etc profiles when I import

Hi,

I used a DJI Mini 3 Pro and imported DNG files and in the profile it correctly shows Adobe Landscape, Adobe Colour, Adobe Standard and Adobe Vivid profiles.

I’ve got a new DJI Mini 5 Pro and when I important on the same Lightroom (same Mac etc) the only profiles it shows are Color, Adaptive Colour, Monochrome and Adaptive B&W.

I’ve tried different .DNG files from my Mini 5 Pro. Have also installed the latest Mac Lightroom and Camera Raw updated today (29/9/26) but still does not give me the other profiles which is very frustrating as I like Adobe Landscape for my drone images.

Can anyone help on this please? Can this be refortified?

Thanks in advance,

Nick

Lightroom release: 15.6

The DJI Mini 5 Pro (FC9313) isn’t a “supported camera” yet, as you can see on this page:

    https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/desktop/dng-and-file-formats/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html

A supported camera is one for which Adobe has built a camera profile implementing the profile Adobe Standard and all the profiles based on Adobe Standard (Adobe Color, Adobe Landscape, Adobe Vivid, etc.).

So how can Camera Raw and LR process DJI Mini 5 Pro raw files? DJI cameras record their raws in Adobe’s DNG format. DNGs are self-contained and can be interpreted by any program implementing the DNG spec.  In particular, DNGs contain their own embedded camera profiles, translating the raw sensor data into a visually pleasing rendering.  When you see “Profile: Color” with a DNG, that indicates that the Camera Raw engine is using the camera profile embedded in the DNG.

To get all the Adobe Standard and related profiles, you’ll need to wait until Adobe decides to support the camera. Add your request to this official thread in the Camera Raw forum:

    https://community.adobe.com/questions-563/p-new-camera-raw-file-support-requests-information-180378

Note that Adobe specifically says that “ETAs for specific cameras are not available”.

It seems curious that the camera was released a year ago and still isn’t supported. Idle speculation: Perhaps Adobe legal has nixed the purchase of the DJI Mini 5 Pro because of the legal uncertainty in the US over the importation and use of foreign-made drones with dual-use technology such as Lidar. Adobe’s legal department has historically been notoriously strict in some of its interpretations.

    Hi @nickb98155204,

Thanks for checking, Nick. The profiles you’re looking for aren’t currently available for the DJI Mini 5 Pro. Profile availability is handled on a camera-by-camera basis, so support for the DNG files themselves doesn’t necessarily mean that all of the profiles available for an earlier DJI model will also be available for the Mini 5 Pro.

We have a dedicated thread for requesting missing camera profiles. Please add your DJI Mini 5 Pro request there:

    https://adobe.ly/3TvTcPm

Please include the full camera model and the specific profiles you’d like to see added.

There isn’t an ETA we can provide for when or whether a particular profile will be added, but that thread is the right place for these requests.

    Best,

Camera Matching profile support is on a camera per camera basis. Therefore, it’s highly probable that this is the reason why the Vivid profile is missing for the DJI Mini Pro 5

Edit: You’ll need to submit a feature request to have Vivid added, and even then there’s no guarantee that it will.

Thanks Ian for the reply. According to what I’ve read the Mini 5 Pro is supported by Adobe, like the generations before it. Plus this drone has been out a year now and surprised its not supported if that's the case.

    Can Adobe clarify this please?
