Question

Editing photos stored on mac, but with iPad

Wouldn't it be great if I could be editing photos in LRC on my Mac, but in case I gotta watch the kids in the backyard or cook in the kitchen, i can take my iPad and keep on editing the same material but have all the processing done on Mac. I'm aware of the fact that such workflow would require lots of software engingeering but I believe in you!

@bacovedran , I agree with KR Seals, activate syncing in Lightroom Classic and sync collections to the Creative Cloud and edit using Lightroom Mobile on your iPad.

You would need to be Lightroom Classic 11 or 12 for syncing.

Lightroom for the iPad was released in 2014 and syncs with Classic. I think it does what you need. Moving back to Discussions

Put the photos you want to edit on your iPad in a collection in LrC on the Mac. Sync that collection to the Adobe cloud. Then, use Lightroom on the iPad to edit those image as you will. The sync process will take a few minutes. Have you tried that?
