Question

error 145 on updating

I know that error 145 means the installation file already exists, my issue is..... when i try to open the lightroom classic folder to delete it i am being told access denied.

I cannot delete the top folder or access it to try and delete the installation file. I hit the uninstall button in the CC desktop but the folder is still showing and will not allow re-installing..... anybody know a work around or solution?

May need to stop services (Adobe)

May be an issue with your copy of Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App.

See this link for how to remove:

https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

And if you want to uninstall Lightroom and/or other Adobe CC programs see:

https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html

Then to get Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App back:

https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/desktop-app.html

Then you can reinstall the various programs
