    Do you use Lightroom Classic or Lightroom Desktop (Cloud)?!--tgqphd|[]-->

    Result of Googles AI search:

    The SRenderingCore constructor!--tgqphd|[]--> error in Adobe Lightroom typically indicates a low-level graphics engine crash, often related to GPU processing or monitor color profiles. This is usually triggered when the application fails to build previews or display the image. [1, 2, 3]!--tgqphd|[]-->

    To resolve the issue quickly, try the following steps, which are standard for most rendering and crashing bugs:!--tgqphd|[]-->

    • Disable Graphics Acceleration:!--tgqphd|[]--> Launch Lightroom, go to Preferences!--tgqphd|[]-->, and select the Performance!--tgqphd|[]--> tab. Uncheck Use Graphics Processor!--tgqphd|[]-->, restart Lightroom, and see if the issue persists.

    • Update Your GPU Drivers:!--tgqphd|[]--> Go directly to your graphics card manufacturer's website—NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel—and download the latest drivers rather than relying solely on Windows Update.

    • Reset Lightroom Preferences:!--tgqphd|[]--> Quit Lightroom. Hold down the Shift + Option!--tgqphd|[]--> (Mac) or Shift + Alt!--tgqphd|[]--> (Windows) keys while launching the application. When prompted, choose Yes!--tgqphd|[]--> to reset your preferences.
      !--tgqphd|[]-->
    • Change Your Monitor Profile:!--tgqphd|[]--> A corrupted monitor profile can cause rendering failures. Change your system's display color profile to sRGB to rule this out.

    If this doesn’t help, provide a copy of your 'System Info'. This can be get from the Lightroom menu item Help > System Info. There's a copy button in the System Info dialog. Press this button and paste the info into a text file and attach it to your next forum post.

    Please go to Help->System Info in Lightroom and paste the output into your reply.

    What happens when you try to edit? Is there an error message? If so, please quote the complete unedited word-for-word error message. Please answer the same questions when you try to upload. (And what do you really mean by “upload” anyway)?

    Ok, you gave me the error message (and I think @AxelMatt has done a great job of investigating)

    Please answer my other questions.
