Lens Blur: outline when zoomed

Hi, I'm using LrC 14.3.1 on a new Mac Studio (M4 Max, 16-core CPU, 40-core GPU, 64GB RAM) running Sequoia 15.5.  Everything is up to date.  When I use the AI Lens Blur tool in any capacity, it initially performs correctly, until I zoom in.  The blur does not appear to sync up with the outline of the subject, causing rough edges and even disfigurement of the subject.  Unfortunately these issues are also present when I export the image, making the Lens Blur tool unusable.

    I'm having the same issue on Windows 11 with 14.3.1 on a Lenovo Legion laptop with i9-13900HX and mobile 4080. Curiously, I did not see this issue before turning off hardware accelerated GPU scheduling in Windows (everything else in Lightroom is way faster with this turned off.) Exporting with lens blur on also produces weird black artifacts in the image. I'll see if I can reproduce after turning HAGS back on.

     

    I have not used the remove tool with this image.

    @detailed_motivation5D6C, please do the LR menu command Help > System Info and copy/paste the entire contents here so we can see exactly which versions of hardware and software LR thinks you're running and important LR options that are set.

    Here you go! I reenabled HAGS and rebooted; the issue is still present so I'm guessing that was just a coincidence. It is possible that I may not have used lens blur inside of Lightroom since Lightroom last updated. I have used lens blur inside of Photoshop, via Camera Raw 17.3.1 in the past few days without issue. All of my files in this LR catalog are Fuji RAF and my only active plugin is midi2lr.

    One person reported the following helped, but they never responded when asked which step helped:

     

    1. Try setting Preferences > Performance > Use Graphics Processor to Custom and unchecking Use GPU For Export. Does the problem still occur?

     

    2. Do you see any red dots under the icons in the Develop tool panel at the top?

     

    If so, that means you've applied Remove on top of the lens blur, and LR needs to recompute the Lens Blur mask. Do the Develop menu command Settings > Update AI Settings.

     

    3. If neither of those help, upload a problem original photo to Wetransfer, Dropbox, Google Drive or similar free service and post the sharing link here. We can see if the problem occurs on other LR installations, and if so, file a bug report.

    If you zoom in to 100% before applying the Lens blur filter, do you see a different result?
    Additionally, If you use the same settings in Adobe Camera Raw on this images, do you see the same behavior?
