Lightroom 6 cannot be downloaded to my new PC.

Hello can anyone help please.I have bough a new PC and want to have my Lighroom 6 as in my old PC. I have the serial number, log in details and my Adobe Account it says it ' multiply platform' but I cannot download it to my PC. The message I get when I try to download it that the serial number has been used - yet it has on my old PC. Why I cannot download it when it says: multiply devices therefore I should be able to download it into my new PC. Thank you for any suggestion.

You can download the installer application file for v6.14 here.- Lightroom 6 End of Support

I'll recommend saving the installation file for further usage. Because it isn't sure how long this download will be available.

If you have a problem to activate your LR installation you have to contact @Carissa Massongill (Adobe staff member). Send her a private messagwe. She has been willing in the past to give Activation support for Lr, as in her 'Correct Answer' at the very top of this long forum thread.

I am mystified by your description. Downloading the software does not ask for a serial number nor does it check to see if the serial number has been used. Exactly what step (please be very specific and detailed) produces these messages? Please provide the exact word-for-word message that you see, preferably as a screen capture using the "Insert Photos" icon (do NOT attach files)

Hello, thank you for your reply. I purchased Lightroom 6 in 2016. When I access my Adobe account I can see it in my Products category. You can click on the Lightroom to download it. The message is following: Products

Register a product

Enter a serial number to register or update your product, upgrade to a plan, or qualify for certain types of service plan.

So I insert the serial number of the Ligtroom and the following error message appears: This serial number is already in use.

Yes it is in use on my old PC. But the Lighroom 6.00 version I purchased states: Platform - multiple. So yes, it was registred on my old PC and it migh think that the serial number has been already used but would not I be able to downoad the software on my new PC when is states multiple platform use?

Basicly I just do not know how to download the Lightroom to my new PC even thought I do have the software, product key. Adobe just does not allow me to do it.

I can only recon that they try to block us to use it on multiply devices ....but that's not the case I try to install it in my new PC.
