Lightroom 6 (Classic not cloud version won't launch after canceling the free trial of Creative Cloud

I am an infrequent user of Lightroom and recently tryed the free trial of adobe creative cloud for an issue with editing PDF's - but then was shown a simple work-around solution. As such I cancled my free trial.
Now when I try to launch Lightroom 6 the splash screen flashed up so briefly I just caught a glimpse - and now there is nothing I have tried that will launch Lightroom.  I have read that if I uninstall and try to re-install it will not re-install as I am now running Mac OS Ventura 13.4.1 on my laptop.

Can anyone give me a helpful guide how to get my Lightroom up and running again please.
Thank you

Gavin

Lightroom 6 was the last perpetual version and dates back to 2015-17. Since then Lightroom (Classic) has been subscription only. You could request help via the thread I've linked to below. However, given that you never actually purchased Lightroom 6, then I doubt that Adobe will provide you with much, if any, support.

Hi kglad - Have tried to uninstall but the uninstaller will not work - it gets a huge X across it and says it needs updating - but no idea how to update?
