Hello,

I've installed the latest version of lightroom classic un my window 10 pc.

The installationhas no errors, but when i launch Lightroom classic app the system give me the error:

Win32 API error 122
when calling ::LoadLibrary(C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom CC\ CameraRaw.dll) from
getCFuntion(WFVideoFoundationContextlmp_load)

This error is blocking.

I find similar bug report where the solution was to uninstall and reinstall Visual studio Runtime form microsof site. I try to do this procedure but the error persist.

At the moment I cannot use  Lightroom Classic, Can you help me?

Thanks!

Marco

Hey @vurgano. Thanks for sharing the details. I'll help you figure this out.

If you've already tried reinstalling Visual Studio runtime. Here are two steps you can try:

1 - Check the steps I've shared here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-ecosystem-cloud-based-discussions/p-lightroom-launch-mfc140u-dll-missing-file-on-windows/m-p/13630146#M76305

2- Do a manual clean-up & re-installation of the Camera Raw plug-in.

  • In the Creative Cloud app, press CTRL + ALT + T (Win) or CMD + OPT + T (macOS) to launch Creative Cloud Troubleshooter & select 'Close Creative Cloud and related processes' > click on Go.
  • Go to the following location and rename the specific folder by adding .old at the end of the folder names.
  • C:\ProgramData\Adobe > Camera Raw > Rename as > Camera Raw.old
  • Press Windows + R to open Run Dialogue > enter Appdata  go to Local > Adobe > Camera Raw > Rename as > Camera Raw.old
  • Download & install Camera Raw: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-in-installer.html

Let us know how it goes from here,

Thanks!

This did not work for me .

I have the same issue. And it's really frustrating because I'm paying for it, it should not be harder than pirating.
