Lightroom Classic not responding with MacOS 12.6

I am having major issues with Lightroom Classic (latest version) under MacOS 12.6 Monterey. It tries to open my current catalogue before going into a continuous 'not responding' state. It also fails to respond promptly to Force Quit. I have restarted my Mac multiple times but to no effect. I have also tried to access a backup catalogue and create a new one with same 'not responding' state. I did get one message that it was installing the AdobeStock plugin but the progress bar did not progress.

I also tried Adobe Lightroom with similar results. Adobe Bridge, Camera Raw and Photoshop work as normal.

Any suggestions on what is the problem?

Check this: Apple changed the security requirements in MacOS Monterey. Go to MacOS 'System Settings - Security & Privacy' and add Lightroom Classic to "Full Disk Access". Click on the lock icon to unlock the settings, then click on the plus icon to add Lightroom Classic if it isn't already listed. If it is listed, then just enable the checkbox. Thank you for the suggestions. I tried the Full Disk Access and resetting the permissions but neither worked. The last working LR Library view (from several weeks ago) appears but I get the spinning disc and not response. I can't even check the version as I can't access the menus. I have even disabled Loupedeck plugin but to no effect. Help!!!

Try deleting the preferences, not resetting them: https://www.lightroomqueen.com/lightroom-classic-file-locations/

Quit Lightroom Classic.
MacOS: Press and hold the Shift + Option keys.
Windows: Press and hold the Shift + Alt keys.
While holding down the keys, launch Lightroom Classic.
When asked, select "Yes".
