Lightroom Metadata loading slow on new installation

Hi,

I have installed Lightroom (11.4.1) on a fresh installation of Windows 11 and Metadata take ages to load. Previews and navigating in LR is otherwise quick. The catalogue is installed on another M2 drive.
When rating an image it can take up to a minute before the rating is visible. When right clicking on an image it can take around 10 seconds and once the menu opens also the rating will be visibile.

Please help with this.

Writing to let you know that I no longer have this issue.
I haven't done any changes so I don't know what caused it and what fixed it.

You may have had some form of sync going on, perhaps sync to cloud. You may have had a face rec going on. You may have (unlikely) had some issue with library previews being created for a lot of images. And whatever of those, the process finally completed.

Provide details of what you have done. Have you reinstalled Windows on your Computer or on a new Computer ?

Are you using your previous Catalog or have you reimported your images to a new Catalog?
What do you mean by "Metadata takes ages to load"?

I have installed Windows 11 on my old PC on a new M2 drive.
I have simply opened the catalogue on the new installation.
Here's what I mean with Metadata taking ages to load:
When selecting an image and moving to next image, the values of the previous image is showing in the right panel until the new values are loaded. It takes a long time for the menu to open when right cliking an image and it takes long time until rating, flag or colour label is visible.
