Lightroom Photo>Edit in Photoshop Not Working Well

When working in Lightroom and try to Edit In>Adobe Photoshop 2019, I get a warning that I need Camera Raw plugin 11.3, but I have it showing as already being installed. Lightroom Help says, 8.3 Release Camera Raw 11.3. When I ignore the warning, and go ahead to PS, a photo that looks fairly good in Lightroom looks incredibly grainy in PS. How can I fix this?

I have updated to CamerRaw 11.3. Working well, now.

Also curious, perhaps it is a boot camp oddity, that in the System Information, the info as to your GPU is basically blank, would have expected it to list some AMD GPU. You might want to visit the Apple support page on Boot Camp, and see about that GPU driver, an update needed perhaps?

My AMD Catalyst Control Center says that the driver is up-to-date, although I think that it is no longer supported by AMD - can't even find it on their site - AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5000. Closest is 5145.

I am curious as to why you need to run LR and I assume PS on a Windows partition (boot camp) instead of a MAC partition,

Quite simply because this machine was inherited, not chosen, and I have worked with Windows for so long, that the Mac OS just does not feel right.

Lightroom has Camera Raw built in, as an integral part of the program.

The Camera Raw plugin is a plugin for Photoshop.

You need to update this plugin to 11.3, which you can do from the CC desktop app. Camera Raw is located at the bottom.

To verify what version you have installed, go to Help > About plugins > Camera Raw in Photoshop.

Having an outdated plugin shouldn't cause the image to display grainy, but it's a good idea to have matching versions of ACR in Lightroom and Photoshop, so do the update, and let us know how it went.

Please accomplish the following

In Lightroom click on Help, click on System Information, click on Copy.

Paste that info from first line down to just before or just after the plug-in info.

Interested mostly in the Lightroom version it displays, and perhaps other info like OS version/build, GPU make/model, GPU version, GPU mode (DirectX vs OpenGL, or Metal if MAC vs anything)

Your issue usually is all about the Camera RAW internal to LR nit matching the Adobe Camera RAW being used by PS (either direction)
