I cannot resize Creative Cloud onscreen. This happens only with Creative Cloud, so it is not a scaling issue. The problem does not exist with Photoshop or any other application. Thank you all for your replies. All images were created in the same colour space. Load/wetness were the same. However, I cannot duplicate the problem today (project scrapped), but I will attempt to do so later. Re: It's not meant to give you exact copies like a standard brush. I don’t understand as I have long used the Mixer Brush Tool to create Tool Presets to make brushes for exactly that. Perhaps I am using the wrong terminology. More confused. When I create a new brush using the Mixer Brush Tool, the colours are faithful, as long as I use that brush in the same image from which it was created. When I use the new brush in any other image, the colours become muddy. Attached is a screenshot of PS with three partial images (to make uploading quicker) vertically arranged. The original, on the right, from which I created the brush, shows the new brush stamped right beside it, displaying the same colours. Using that brush, in the two images on the left produces dead-looking colours. All three are RGB, 8 bits. I made no changes in Brush Settings and I have restarted Photoshop. Can someone please explain how to fix this.

Thank you for your reply Anshul. I have tried this, but it changes nothing as far as the font size in the PS menu bar is concerned (eg.File)-- it remains extremely small, while the subheadings (eg.New) are much larger.

PS Menu Font Is this a Windows 11 glitch or is it PS? I am trying to change the Interface font size for my menu bar as well as in Preferences on Adobe PS. I have tried to delete the Adobe font cache but cannot, the message being that it is being used in dwm.exe. Preferences>Interface>Presentation and selecting UI Font Size:Large and Scale UI to font + a reboot changes nothing. The font size in my menu bar - File, Edit, Image, etc - remains miniscule. It does, however, change the font size in the drop-down menus, under those headings. Going through the Windows settings seems to have no effect on the PS menu bar either, but does affect the menu bar on some other applications. I think I’ve missed something simple. The controls/functions I see in the Lightroom tutorial, Take your first steps in Lightroom, are not reflected in my version of Lightroom. I have tried suggestions from the Adobe Support Community (below), with no change in appearance. Lightroom is up to date and Windows is up to date. • Hit the Tab key several time to show/hide the left and right panels. • F5 function key to show/hide the top bar. • F6 to show/hide the filmstrip. • t to show hide the tool bar. • \ key to show/hide the filter bar Also, I cannot size the window to suit, when I have two programs open. When I grab the edge of the LR window, the resize arrow appears, but dragging the edge accomplishes nothing. Although I now have several Mixer Brush Tool Presets working well, I am trying to understand why New Brush Preset and New Tool Preset are working so differently for me. When I create & save a brush in the Brushes Panel with New Brush Preset, with both Include Tool Settings and Include Tool Color checked, they work only intermitantly. Even then, I can use only the most recently created one. When I choose a previously-saved one, it always reverts to the most recently-created one, or nothing at all. When I create & save a brush as a New Tool Preset in the settings in the Options Bar for the Mixer Brush, it works like a charm (despite the fact that PS suggests using Brush Presets to do so). There was definitely an open file - I was experimenting with the different methods of fringe removal. It was not just once - I tried using Discovery several times on the current file, then opened another file just to see if it was something that I had missed. The result was fine each time. The next morning, all was fine.

How do you print numbered labels in PS? I created them following a tutorial as a Data Set using Image>Variables>Define, etc. and they all appeared as expected as jpg files in a new folder, but I haven't been able to print the way I want. I have tried loading them into a stack and creating a contact sheet, but what I want is to print them on Avery labels (or any other commercially available brand).

I am looking for a way to do a scruffy erase. I have used a displacement map on text to make it look like old paint and the result is quite good. However, I am trying to find a way to make the "paint" appear a little more ragged, or worn off, but cannot achieve this by changing the horizontal and vertical scale sliders. I am watching a video (Collin Smith Live From Lockdown) where a smart object is copied & pasted several times, creating new layers. When he double clicks any one of the thumbnails of the copied smart objects, a new window opens where he makes changes (in this case color), saves & closes, returns to the main image, where the same change appears on each layer. When I do this, only the layer on which I made the adjustment shows the change. In other words, all the other layers remain unchanged. Am I missing a step?

I tried to install a previous version of PS (21.2), in order to retain the ability to manipulate 3D files. I was not prompted for a target folder & the program started to install files in the same directory as my 22.5. How can I do this? I want to be able to run either version, according to my need -- the older version for 3D, which is a rarity, so it is not worth the extra cost of installing Substance.

This is not about PS, per se. I am interested, at some point, in becoming accredited in Photoshop. So far, I have found information only for those who are part of an institution that has Adobe Prime. I haven't yet found anything for individuals on the Adobe site. Can someone direct me to a link?

I have been watching tutorials on using Channels to adjust HSB, but I am missing something and I am looking for suggestions. This is what I'm doing: Copy original Select copy Go to Channels Panel Select Green layer Ctrl-click Green icon - Selection loads Click RGB Return to Layers Panel - the copy of original is selected & showing selection Create Adjustment Layer - Hue/Saturation - Selection disappears and H/S sliders affect the whole image, instead of Selection

Thank you for letting me know that what I was trying to do was not possible. Not knowing the software limits always leads to wasted time. I guess RGB values must be determined before using this function, if an exact match to image colours is required. I could have done this with fx, but the I thought that this would be quicker. On a non-Adobe note, if this function is obsolete, I wonder why some bright spark at Microsoft does not make the suggestion to deprecate it and replace it, or re-jig it.

Updated this evening to Photoshop Version: 22.4.2 20210602.r.242 a4f6042 x64 -- no change. The attached is a mock-up of what I want to do. As you can see, I can choose a Basic colour and make it a Custom colour, but I cannot use Define Custom Colors. The Eyedropper does not appear when I try to pick up a colour from Swatches or from the image.
