LrC V12.2.1 extremely slow in "Add" import and cropping pictures

Hi there

i didn't want to upgrade my V.10 version since i heard a lot of ocmplaint about the V.12 from several co-workers. Somehow my system upgrade automatically at the new version V12.2.1 and i suddenly found two main issue with this version:

1) If i crop one picture, it takes 20 seconds to pass to the following picture (in develop mode). any other function, including masks, looks workin properly.

2) if i import new pictures it takes literally A LIFE to add them in the catalog, and i m talking about "ADD" function, that should be the faster way to import

i appreciate any suggestion

Please note that i m using a GPU Geforce GTX 1051 T1 4gb

Close LrC if open
Locate metrics.json file
File Locations:
Mac: /Users/<username>/Library/Caches/Adobe/Lightroom/metrics.json
Win: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\Lightroom\Caches\metrics.
Delete that file.

i tried everything

i removed the metrics and the preferences too, but LR is still too slow , especially in import pictures from a local folder (add). it takes more than 1 hour to import 300 pictures. completely unaccetable for my workflow.
