My photos I had taken got corrupted. Is there any way to recover the CR2 file?

When trying to view the photo through the camera it says cannot playback image and when i try viewing it trhough my laptop it says "it looks like we dont support this file format". Ive tried different photo recovery softwares and I either get an error or it just wont work. Anything is helpful
