Lightroom Classic will not open. I have version 12.0.1. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it but it continues to not allow me to open it. Please help!

@MichaelCareyPhotography  would you be willing to share a copy of the catalog that is crashing. The engineering team will need it to diagnose your crash.

And did you check for a lock file that did not get deleted the last time you closed LrC?

I don't know how to do that. Any chance you can guide me through it?

If Lightroom is running it creates a .lock file for the opened catalog next to the approriate .lrcat file.

On LRs regulary shut down this file was deleted. If LR crashes the .lock file remains in the appropriate folder.

In this case the .lock file must be deleted manually.
