The Lightroom team is dedicated to building capabilities that foster trust and transparency in the age of AI. Our latest release, as part of the Content Authenticity Initiative (https://contentauthenticity.org/), allows you to add content credentials to your work when exporting in Lightroom to ensure provenance and preserve authenticity.

New content credential capabilities are available across the Lightroom ecosystem (Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, Lightroom for mobile (iOS & Android), Lightroom for web), and Adobe Camera Raw in Early Access. When exporting a JPEG from Lightroom, you can attach your name, social media handle, and a list of edits via a digital signature.

You can find the option to apply Content Credentials while exporting a JPEG in the export panel. It is, by default, turned OFF. You can choose to enable this option at the time of each export or enable it in App preferences for every export. Learn more.

If you choose to attach credentials, the information you submit will be tied to your image and can be verified by uploading the photo to contentcredentials.org/verify. Try out the early access version of Content Credentials and share your feedback with us.

Not even the basic attach to files works reliably. 100% production not ready. We are not paid beta testers FFS!

Exports keep failing again and again. No attempts to retry. Just failing.

If LRC is started without connection, it fails 100% regardless of present status. But it also fails otherwise. Just SO CRAZY ANNONYING. This has got to be vibe coded. The whole recent LR and PS.

My exports fail every single time when I attach credentials. This is new. It did not used to do this.

Content credentials fails my export every single time. Checked or unchecked, at least one image will not export.

C2PA is an important technology that allows us to verify the authenticity of our images. At first, it worked flawlessly, but now there are issues with exporting. Some images aren't exported due to problems with C2PA. If you try again, it might work—or it might not. However, with enough attempts, you can always export all the images. I think the problem has existed since the last (or maybe the one before last) update.

Opened this page to report the same issue - sad it’s happening but glad I’m not the only one!
And every time it’s a different image. I’ve tried everything from relinking all the credentials to restarting/optimizing catalog etc - same issue persists.

I only export the pictures, that were not exported before. This way you will have exported all of them some time.

Have had to switch off the feature as it is stopping me from expoerting my jpegs now. I get the message: Some Export operations were not performed and Couldn’t apply Content credentials. And sometimes my files are actually there and sometimes they are not. I have tried Write to the Cloud and write to the file and same for both.

Also getting export failures on some photos. Unusable and unreliable unless you’re exporting just a couple of photos at a time.

I’m getting problems even with a single file so it doean’s appear to be a numbers game.

Every export I'm getting multiple errors. Have to export many times until all photos are exported right. Very annoying.

One competition site I enter on suggests turning on CC before starting editing. I am totally flabbergasted by that as I can’t find any tab or drop down menu that would allow me to do that. I did watch a video of LEICA and CC in Lr that shows a tech tab under preferences, but I don’t have that in the latest version of classic. ( LR 15.5)

also my main photo site is on Flickr (and I export there directly from LR) and it is not in the drop down menu to add a ’connected account’ to CC. Opening my flickr page does not help in doing it. Is there any way to add it?

I get an error that Lightroom Classic could not attach the content credentials. I was not getting this error until last week and I had hoped that the last bug fix would have corrected that. So sometimes it works, and sometimes it does not. I’m completely up to date on Lightroom and storing the credentials locally.

same here. all the time. have to export multiple times to get all photos exported. driving me nuts.
