P: LrC 15.4 is temporarily unavailable

I cannot update LR to a version which I have on m laptop. Laptop has 15.4, home computer has 15.3.1 and Creative Could is not capable to find the V15.4 and to update my main version. Thus a catalog exported with photography on the road cannot be imported to the main workstation.

    Hi All! Lightroom Classic v15.4.1 is now available for downlaod via the Creative Cloud desktop app with the following critical bug fiixes:

    I believe the 15.4 download has been temporarily pulled due to discovery of a bug that could result in data loss. They’re working to get a fix out ASAP, but better to make it unavailable for a short time than for someone to lose precious original photos.

    I don’t think that’s it.  I also have a M1 Macbook and it updated to version 15.4 just fine.  I was able to copy the app from the macbook to my M4 Mac Studio. It runs ok that way, although it still doesn’t show up in Creative Cloud app.

    That's a good workaround. When did you update the MacBook? There’s probably a timing factor involved, as this is a developing situation, and availability will likely depend on when the CC app last refreshed.

    1. Go to the Creative Cloud app.

     

    2. Sign out.

     

    3. Restart the computer.

     

    4. Go to the Creative Cloud app and sign in. 

     

    5. Click Home in the upper-left corner.

     

    6. Click Updates on the right-end of the row containing Home.

     

    7. If you don’t see LR Classic 15.4, click Check For Updates in the upper-right corner.

Home computer has 15.3.1 and Creative Could is not capable to find the V15.4 and to update my main version. Thus a catalog exported with photography on the road cannot be imported to the main workstation at home.

    I can't update LR Classic to 15.4 - I am using a MacBook Pro on OS 26.5.1 - when I go into CC it just shows LR Classic 15.3.1

    I was trying to update to the latest version (15.4) of LRC on my M4 Mac Studio and got the slow downloading message.  I quit Creative Cloud and when I restarted it the 15.4 upgrade was not longer there.  Uninstalling LRC and reinstalling it only gets the previous version 15.3.1
