Performance Issue in Lightroom Classic 15.0.1 Develop Module

我是一名专业摄影师，想报告一下我在使用 Lightroom Classic 时遇到的性能问题。

从Lightroom Classic 14.5.1升级到15.0版本后，我发现使用“修改照片”模块编辑照片时，在“胶片显示”面板中切换图像会出现卡顿和延迟。这个问题在14.5.1版本中并不明显，一切运行都流畅。

我后来升级到了Lightroom Classic 15.0.1版本，并进行了目录优化，但问题仍然存在。虽然15.0.1版本较15.0版本不断改进，但整体性能仍然远不如14.5.1版本流畅。

Hey, @WillCheung. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out. Please share the system info from Lightroom Classic from Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here. 

 

Where do you keep your Lightroom Classic catalog? Does the delay occur randomly, or after you've applied specific edits, or a number of edits, to the image, such as Lens Corrections, Denoise, and Masks? 

As primary steps, try this:

  • Unplug additional displays & use only one by default.
  • Monitor the Task Manager > Performance Tab for any unexpected read and write operations. 
  • Lightroom Classic > Catalog Settings > Metadata > Uncheck 'Automatically Write Changes Into XMP.'

Delay: The delay occurs after importing images, when selecting a photo. The image goes from blurry to sharp, similar to a loading process.No Lens Corrections, Denoise, or Masks have been applied.

 

There is only one monitor, and no additional monitors are connected.

 

Lightroom Classic > Catalog Settings > Metadata > Uncheck 'Automatically Write Changes Into XMP.' Check this detailed response from our Expert:

Performance: On macOS, there is only one active monitor. Each time a photo is clicked, only the %CPU spikes instantly from 2.x–3.x up to over 100.x。
