Question

The star system on the most recent update is not working properly. When I rate an image with 5 stars the next image I view shows 5 stars as well

Import multiple photos, select one photo and rate it 5 stars. When another photo is selected it will be rated 5 starts as well. This makes culling a challenge and effects workflow speed.

    Now the order button is back but it has not fixed the star rating bug.

    I followed the advice above ;

    1. First, restart your computer. If the problem persists, try resetting LR's preferences:
    https://www.lightroomqueen.com/articles-page/how-do-i-reset-lightrooms-preferences/

    LR sometimes soils its preferences file, and resetting it can fix all sorts of wonky behavior. That article explains how to restore the old preferences if resetting doesn't help.

    But now the button that allows me to set the order (by capture date, star rating etc) has disappeared 😢

    This is happening to me too! Absolute nightmare! Super super annoying - hope they fix it soon!

    2. If that doesn’t help, please do the LR menu command Help > System Info, click the Copy button in the upper right corner, and paste into your reply here, so we can see exactly which versions of hardware and software LR thinks you're running and important LR options that are set.

    @AmyCraghill Your System Info shows you are on LR Desktop, not LR Classic, but you’ve posted in the LR Classic forum. If you repost in the LR Ecosystem forum, you’ll get better advice faster:
