Unspecified slowness complaint
My current catalogue is using 41GB of RAM, which is larger than the amount of disk space the catalogue is using. Is this a bug? It's soooOOOOOooooo slow I cannot do any work.
What's it trying to do?
Is it loading all the photos into RAM?
Or is Adobe scanning them all and stealing them for their Firefly?
I reset Lightroom, tried it without GPU, but Lightroom Classic 13.5 is making my life a misery. I done with this nonesense.
System Specs:
Threadripper Pro 3975WX
256GB RAM
Nivida RTX A6000
Windows 11 Pro
8 x 1TB nvme M.2 drives - One for system and software, one for projects, a few for media files and exporting locations and one dedicated entirely to cache folders for all the software.
