Question

Creative Cloud storage shows as full but I have deleted most synced photos

My 20gb creative cloud storage is showing as full, even though I have removed most of my synced photos on the cloud.

I'm not sure what I should do now, as there isn't anything else I can delete, and what is left isn't anywhere near 20gb.

I'm using Lightroom Classic and the iPad app to edit photos across the cloud.

Can anyone help please?

@littlegem4921  Why are you "uploading" files to the Lightroom Cloud?  Why not instead use standard Collections in Lr-Classic that will sync with the Lr cloud and allow editing on the iPad?

Syncing LrC Collections will be faster (only smart previews ~1MB are synced), and these proxy files do not occupy any space in your Lr Cloud allocation. Edits done on the iPad will automatically sync back to the LrC catalog.

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.1.1, Photoshop 27.3.1, ACR 18.1.1, Lightroom 9.0, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.2 .

I do that from my main camera, but these are iPhone raw photos, so I've been uploading them directly into LR mobile. I'll have to see if I can download them to my main computer and sync them to LR instead.

I think it's a fault with the cloud.

I've followed the steps in this post a couple of times (https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/cloud-storage-full/td-p/13347121), which worked and reset the cloud storage to less than 1MB. But after uploading around 600 photos to the cloud, it's saying I've maxed it out again.

It looks like you have some very large photos, over 70 and 80 Mb, that are contributing to your storage use, although currently, you are using only 11.3 Gb.   You may want to consider upgrading to a plan that allows for more storage to handle the larger photo size.

Do you have a lot of Presets synced?

Presets (and their associated Profiles) can consume a lot of space.

I don't think I have any presets.
