Edited photos gone after logging out

Hi, my mom logged herself out of her free mobile Lightroom app. After logging in, her edited photos are gone. How can I get them back? Is there anything I can do? There is no premium Account or any payment.
She uses a Samsung and the latest version.

Hi Rob,

thanks for the help. Unfortunately the thread talks about an uninstalled app. My mom just signed out and in. And she uses a Samsung so the way to retrieve the photos with iTunes won't work. Do you have some other ideas?
