Fixed: Missing Images and Presets after Lightroom Mobile 5.4 update

So, Lightroom automatically updated and I lost everything I had until this morning when I last used it.

 

I hope theres a way to recover my work back.

    Hi All,

    We are aware that some customers who updated to Lightroom 5.4.0 on iPhone and iPad may be missing photos and presets that were not synced to the Lightroom cloud. 

    A new version of Lightroom mobile (5.4.1) for iOS and iPadOS has now been released that prevents this issue from affecting additional customers. 

    Installing version 5.4.1 will not restore missing photos or presets for customers affected by the problem introduced in 5.4.0. 

    We know that some customers have photos and presets that are not recoverable. We sincerely apologize to any customers who have been affected by this issue. 

    If you are affected by this issue, please refer to the information in our forum.

    Boa tarde, eu tinha muitos presets inclusive pagos, até que agora abri o aplicativo e tudo sumiu, os presets e as fotos, desapareceu, como devo prosseguir?

    My LR app (used in Iphone) is not working properly. I lost my presets and some photos. It opens preset folders by a sudden. Similar problem happening in the desktop verion of LR.

      Resenlty most of photos and all presets disappeared on iOS my device. I've already read the articles about this issue and haven't found any info about fixing it, only apologizes. Can you help me with it?

      There is a 5.4.1 update that fixes the problem, but the update itself does not restore the images and settings. It only solves the problem for people who had not updated yet. To restore the photos you need to have a way to restore your phone from a backup, like an iPhone from an iCloud backup. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204184

      Hi!

       

      I just recently noticed that all the photos I have edited on my iPad since christmas are now gone. I can't locate any of the about 1000+ photos that i have edited since then.

      i cant believe that all my picture has been gone. even my preset. and there is no way to return all of them back. this is crap

      Feel upset when I tab into my lightroom apps today and found that all my photos and presets are gone! The update is just bad.. Can anyone tell me how to get back all these?!

        Me facing this problem too since day 1 that I updated version 5.4

        And I really cry because many photos and many presets I had.

         

        And bad news it Adobe can't fix anything, you can see pic below.

        Can not get on to customer service. Will they be compensating people for loosing everything. I would at least like to be able to re purchase the presets that I've spent a hundreds of dollars on. Has anyone had any success with customer service?

          Today when I pulled up LR on my phone all of my saved photos are gone as well as all of my saved presets. It does say my subscription has expired, but I was using the free version. I updated the app just in case, but that didn't help. Any ideas?
