Fixed: Missing Images and Presets after Lightroom Mobile 5.4 update

So, Lightroom automatically updated and I lost everything I had until this morning when I last used it.

I hope theres a way to recover my work back.

Hi All,

We are aware that some customers who updated to Lightroom 5.4.0 on iPhone and iPad may be missing photos and presets that were not synced to the Lightroom cloud.

A new version of Lightroom mobile (5.4.1) for iOS and iPadOS has now been released that prevents this issue from affecting additional customers.

Installing version 5.4.1 will not restore missing photos or presets for customers affected by the problem introduced in 5.4.0.

We know that some customers have photos and presets that are not recoverable. We sincerely apologize to any customers who have been affected by this issue.

If you are affected by this issue, please refer to the information in our forum.

I just got the update today for the new Lightroom CC "Bug Fix" & when I opened the preset option all of my presets were gone. Please help

I've been using the Lightroom Mobile app on my iphone for over 3years now

Today, I open the app and see there is no photos, presets, albums all gone.

CAn anyone explain why? this happend?

I tried logoff, log back in but still the same situation.

Hi,

i have the free lightroom app and today when i clicked in to the app i noticed that every picture i've imported and every preset i've created from the past 13 months is all gone??

please help, don't want to loose all pictures and presets...

I went into LR mobile on my phone and all my presets disappeared! Does anyone know how to get them back? I'm disappointed considering I've spent a lot of money on them 😕😕

So for your mess up are you going to compensate the folks who lost presets that were PURCHASED or anybody who lost work for clients with free few months of the subscription or not! What a crock of s***

Lately I've been taking a lot of photos and putting them into my Lightroom account. However last night I went to Lightroom to do a bit of editing and all of my presets are gone and my new photos and albums are not there but my old photos are all there (I deleted them a few months ago). Is there anyway I can recover my new photos and presets?

Hi Mohit,

That link to the "forum" is a deadlink now. Does this mean you have ackowledged the problem, released 5.4.1 as a fix but there's nothing more to be done with this issue and you are closing this subject? How can we know it won't happen again? I'm seriously considering to have a plan of yours just for having a backup always on, which is a twist in my mind because I'm gonna pay the subscription to someone who's messed up so I don't lose everything again, but how can we be sure another problem will not happen and even synced up data can be lost too?

I hope someone can help with my problem:
I use the Lightroom mobile app to edit my pictures. suddenly all pictures and my saved presets are gone. the only thing i had done differently yesterday was plugging my iphone into the usb cable of my new car, but that can't be the reason?
How do I get my saved images (with settings) and the presets back?

I'm so disappointed. I went into Lightroom today and all my work are gone YEARS OF WORK!! And then I go on the community tab their respond is like oh sorry ?? Are you serious? Please tell me it's a joke I've lost all my work and also others are on the same boat!! this is not ok!!!
