Fixed: Missing Images and Presets after Lightroom Mobile 5.4 update

So, Lightroom automatically updated and I lost everything I had until this morning when I last used it.

I hope theres a way to recover my work back.

Hi All,

We are aware that some customers who updated to Lightroom 5.4.0 on iPhone and iPad may be missing photos and presets that were not synced to the Lightroom cloud.

A new version of Lightroom mobile (5.4.1) for iOS and iPadOS has now been released that prevents this issue from affecting additional customers.

Installing version 5.4.1 will not restore missing photos or presets for customers affected by the problem introduced in 5.4.0.

We know that some customers have photos and presets that are not recoverable. We sincerely apologize to any customers who have been affected by this issue.

If you are affected by this issue, please refer to the information in our forum.

Are you serious?!!! We will not be able to recover our photos and presets? Do you understand how long it took us to do all that work? And now it's all gone?wtf

Well the new update still didn't changed anything in my situation! Photos are gone and you guys still didn't fixed anything

Hello, if I restore the backup from March and after restoring I update the application to version 5.4.1, can I count that at least this data will be kept? Will everything disappear after starting the application?

아이폰11에서 라이트룸 무료버전을 오랫동안 사용 중이었습니다.

어제 어플을 열어보니 2018년 이후, 최근에 작업한 모든 사진들과 사전설정들이 사라졌습니다.

이유를 알고싶어 여기저기 찾아보았으나, 알 수 없었습니다.

오늘 여기에 들어와서 보니, 어플이 새로 업데이트 되면서 발생한 버그의 일종인 것 같은데...

다른 분의 글을 보니 adobe측에서 무료판 사용 중이기 때문에 어떠한 조치를 취해줄 수 없다는 입장을 밝혔다는데, 이는 개인적으로 굉장히 무책임하다는 생각이 듭니다.

사라진 사전설정들로 인해 답답한 마음에 여기에 글을 작성해봅니다.

Hey! I just lost all my photos and presets (paid and some I made myself) after my phone automatically updated the Lightroom mobile app. I contacted customer service chat and they said they couldn't do anything since I have a free account and said I should post on here saying what happened and a team would contact me to solve this problem. I really hope I get my photos and (even more important because I don't have copies) my presets. TIA

It seems my mobile Lightroom app updated automatically overnight, and since opening it for the first time I've noticed all my albums, photos, and presets have all been erased. @adobe Please tell me there is another update coming out to fix this or way to restore everything that was in my cloud that has since been erased.

I just did the mobile update and ALL my presets and photos are gone.

I'm not sure how to recover. I've logged in and out and in again multiple times.

Please tell me there is a fix!

I'm having a similar issue! All my albums have been erased and all my photos for the past year have been erased. Please tell me there's a way to fix this!

Hello, I have lost all my Lightroom mobile data from my iPhone. When I opened the app it shows 0 pictures in there And I had 200+ pictures but nothing is there. It's so frustrating that's I have spend a lot of time clicking pictures and editing them on the mobile. But all of them vanished suddenly. I haven't uninstalled the app. The last time I used the app was 18th August. I don't know where all the data is gone. How can I get those back?

Same thing happened to me. All my presets are gone too. I can't get through to support and I've tried everything.

I woke this morning to my entire catalogue of photos and presets completely disappeared. I sunbscribe and have for a long time, and never had this problem. Mobile is the main way I edit and there are thousands of photos and edits missing!! Please tell me these can be recovered!!

Me too! I collected those presets and photos over 5 years and they were all gone!!! I'm so mad.

08/18 some more current photos suddenly disappeared from my app, and I ended up running out of important photos, updated but the photos didn't come back and they don't appear in the trash folder, as I should continue?
