Lightroom shows No Exif Information for JPGs transferred via Fujifilm Cam Remote app on iOS

Lightroom does not read Cam Remote transfered JPGs. Other iOS app (Darkroom) shows the Exif information of the same file. If I directly transfer JPG via camera connection kit, Lightroom will display the correct Exif data. Lightroom used to show Exif info from Cam Remote transferred files - but it broke sometime around February. Is there a solution for Cam Remote transfered JPGs?  Thanks!
