Question

P: (Mobile) Presets panel, under Recommended, I do not see the preset categories (Warm, Dark, Bright, Cinematic, HDR, etc.)

In the Presets panel, under Recommended, I do not see the preset categories (Warm, Dark, Bright, Cinematic, HDR, etc.) that appear in Adobe's documentation and other users' screenshots. The app is fully updated, I've already compared it with Lightroom on my phone, and the feature is missing only on my iPad. I'd like to know if this is a bug, a staged rollout, or an account-specific issue.

What a garbage move, Adobe. These presets are so so useful for photo editing. You just made the service you provide less valuable. Consumers are done getting screwed by companies with these “improvements”.

The recommended presets was the only reason I purchased yearly Lightroom Mobile and now the many options are gone.
Canceling is irrelevant since the year is already paid for so this needs to be put back asap.

I’ve cancelled my annual subscription because of this change. Annoyed that it just renewed so I’m stuck having paid for something that is basically unusable for me now.

Bring back the categories for presets like warm, cool cinematic HDR black-and-white, etc.

This a serious mistake by Adobe! This a very useful feature -please restore and get some user feedback before taking away features that people use.

The most wanted feature from the Lightroom has been deleted! The recommended presets needs to comeback. There are some pics which I have to see in dark mode...I can't see it in BnW due to this update...the recommended options doesn't show many options... please fix this asap. I've been premium subscriber from past 2 yrs or so. I guess it's time to give up on the app which doesn't listen to it's customers.

    Restore the Lightroom Preset Categories

I am EXTREMELY frustrated by the decision to remove the preset categories under the recommended Presets, specifically categories like Dark, Bright, Warm, Cool, Cinematic, HDR, etc.

I have used Lightroom Mobile for years... and these categories were an important part of my actual editing workflow. I did not simply apply a preset and call the photo finished. I used the Dark category as a CONSISTENT base for my photos, then adjusted the exposure, highlights, shadows, color, and other settings depending on the lighting and individual image.

That workflow allowed me to maintain a consistent visual style across my social media while still adapting each photo individually, and is why I paid for this program for years above all others. Literally this feature ALONE.

Removing the categories has therefore done much more than "simplify" the interface. It has removed a tool that I relied on to efficiently maintain my established editing style. What Adobe considers a simplification has made Lightroom useless for me… The basic editing features are already built into my iphone, as well as canva AI which I also pay for…

I understand wanting to make the interface cleaner… but honestly it was well organized and was not even an issue that needed addressing. Please recognize that simplifying an interface by removing functionality is not necessarily an improvement for the people who actually use that functionality, and clearly by this thread we are all expressing the same frustration.

I will be joining others and cancelling my subscription until this feature is returned.. I sincerely hope Adobe takes that feedback seriously.

Please bring back the Recommended Preset categories, or at minimum provide an option/toggle to restore the previous category-based interface for a quick edit…

I would much rather continue using Lightroom than have to find another editing workflow, but this change makes this app no longer useful for me at it’s core.

Please pass this feedback directly to the Lightroom product team.

After the last update did you remove the preset categories for “recommended presets”? Can’t find preset categories such as Black and White, cinematic, HDR and so on. I hope is just a bug if not, it would be a major mistake and downgrade if you removed this feature
