P: (Mobile) Presets panel, under Recommended, I do not see the preset categories (Warm, Dark, Bright, Cinematic, HDR, etc.)

In the Presets panel, under Recommended, I do not see the preset categories (Warm, Dark, Bright, Cinematic, HDR, etc.) that appear in Adobe's documentation and other users' screenshots. The app is fully updated, I've already compared it with Lightroom on my phone, and the feature is missing only on my iPad. I'd like to know if this is a bug, a staged rollout, or an account-specific issue.

@Rikk Flohr_Photography  — I know this decision was not yours personally, and I don't want this to come across as directing any frustration toward you. I appreciate you continuing to respond to people on this thread.

That said, with this thread continuing to grow and so many paying users expressing the same concern, is there any update you can give us on whether this feedback is being passed along to the Lightroom team and whether restoring these categories is actually being considered?

I think a lot of us are ultimately trying to figure out the same thing: should we hold out hope that Adobe is listening and may bring this feature back, or should those of us who primarily paid for Lightroom because of this feature start looking elsewhere and cancel our subscriptions?

For me personally, the selectable Recommended Preset categories were essentially the reason I paid for Lightroom. I would much rather remain a customer, which is why I'm taking the time to speak up rather than simply canceling.

Again, I know you didn't make this decision. If you're able to advocate for us or give us any indication that the Lightroom team is hearing this feedback, I think everyone on this thread would really appreciate it.

@Rikk Flohr_Photography  You can see from several replies that none of your users are unhappy with this change and considering canceling their subscription solely because of this unwarranted & undesired update, yet your company is refusing to do anything about it.

I had two posts to report this and Adobe chose to not just ignore them but also completely delete them from the forums.

Personally I’m canceling my subscription today and demanding a refund if this is how your company treats it users.

    @JustZee
Your posts were not deleted. They were merged with this report as duplicates.

Well, change it back. This is terrible and not an upgrade in a single way.

@Sarah&Zach I would strongly recommend canceling your subscription because that is the only way companies listen.

Unfortunately that isn't an option for us as my wife is required to use lightroom for multiple classes.

Please bring back the preset categories under Recommended. I used Warm, Cool, Bright, Dark, Cinematic etc. regularly and found them much more useful than the new simplified view. The update has made my workflow less convenient.

This is so disappointing.  Those were my favorite features. I'd much rather have those kind of editing options over anything AI. Please bring them back. They weren't hurting anyone 🙏

Why change this, The option in Recommended presets need putting back as it was, this is the reason I chose to pay for the app.

@Nigel+Mal  I only paid for the app for the very same reason. I tried communicating the issue as soon as it came up and instead they deleted my posts. I’m canceling my subscription today and I would recommend you do the same because that is the only way they listen. When they lose subscriptions.

I’m getting the same issue, no modes under the recommended tab. I too pay for the service and loved having those features. Might have to cancel because this is ridiculous.

This is a deliberate change to simplify sub-categories under Recommended Presets.

I guess I’m cancelling my subscription since this is the main reason I use the paid service rather than free.

@warm_connoisseurbf3d I’m doing the very same (canceling) as soon as my appointments are done today.

Those features were the only reason I was paying for the app because I don’t always have time to edit from scratch. Now that they’re gone, I have no use for it.

If the removal of the recommended preset categories was intentional, I might seriously intentionally cancel all subscriptions and find somewhere else to do editing. I pay for both mobile and classic for lightroom and photoshop, and should have those categories back as part of my subscriptions that I pay for.

@motivated_Lullaby5b47 I recommend you go through with your cancellation because I’m doing the same today. Those features were the only reason I was paying for the app.

I’ve already started looking elsewhere and found an app called Prequel. I’ve never tried it before, but it came highly recommended.
