Hi everyone,In an asc file, I am trying to retrieve some data from a server that uses JSON as its exchange format each time someone connects to a specific application. ( I can't control the exchange format)To do that I send a POST using the sendAndLoad method of a LoadVars Object. So far I only managed to get the HTTP header. The target object from the sendAndLoad method seems to be empty .The response format from the server is like this : {"result":{"uid":"24947431041778945007157724608309","sid":"20825068196030559827758762683967"}}   (I got it by doing a POST with cURL)Since the data doesn't have the "attribute=value&attribute2=value2..."  format, I think I will not be able to get them.Does anyone know if it is possible to first get and then parse these data using either ServerSide ActionScript's APIor another good method .

Hi,I am publishing a audio stream from a client with the name: az_34534_c_-1_31972433_23. On the server i receive this stream in the onPublish method and there i try to use legService.pushNewStream method. It gives me the following error in AMS console:(first line is the trace i have added in onPublish method followed by the error raised)---OnPublish-----<>------:  stream az_34534_c_-1_31972433_23 ----push in legId 8879bfee-8ff6-433b-8691-441a89cad833Object encoding error; terminating connection : rtmp://_defaultRoot_/_defaultVHost_/BPool1/23296The legId is active and works fine because i could here the other speaker at my side. It is when i push my stream the object encoding error comes. Is it a encoding issue like AMF3 or AMF0. I use the current default AMF3. I created a sample application, surprisingly, there the pushnewstream worked fine and communication worked. What should i check in case of my main application? Here are the Logs from the AMG log file(right when pushnews

Hello Adobe FMS Community,Here is my situation: I have taken the 150, 500 & 700 kbps sample f4v files and manuelly packaged them for multi-bitrate streaming using f4fpackager. I then placed them in <FMS install directory>/webroot/httpDynamicStream. When I access the OSMF Player from the local machine (http://[Server's LAN IP Address]/OSMFPlayer/OSMFPlayer.html) and try to play the URL: http://[Server's LAN IP Address]/httpDynamicStream/httpDynamicStream.f4m, everything works fine. However, when I access the OSMF Player which is hosted on a different server on the network ((http://[Other Machine's LAN IP Address]/OSMFPlayer/OSMFPlayer.html and pass the URL: http://[Server's LAN IP Address]/httpDynamicStream/httpDynamicStream.f4m, I get an error #2048. Could someone help me understand what the problem is here? Do I need a crossdomain.xml? If so, please give an example of one that would work. Thanks a lot.

I have created a htmls5 player(used as iframe on website) running on Adobe media server and its working well for streaming live and video on demand. since we are moving to all secured sites, i want to add SSL cert to AMS. i want to make sure that it will not break anything.

How can i make livepkgr hls streaming link (m3u8) available for HTTPS site. I have created my localhost HTTPS with Free SSL certificate.

I am using Adobe Media Server 5 Standerd in a windows 16 server located in my office with a real ip. I have created m3u8 file for multibit rate live streaming through HTML5 video tag. Everything is working fine when I am using m3u8 file with the link of real IP and loading the video player from the same IP it means using video player (VideoJS) from AMS server webroot. But when I am copying that m3u8 file to my web server where my company website is hosted it says 'The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported.'. What I am trying to say when videojs player link and m3u8 file's livestream links are from same host they are working fine and otherwise not. I have created crossdomain.xml file in my webroot (AMS server) where I permitted the my website name (*.domainname). Please help. Thanks

I'm trying to setup audio-only "HLS on-demand" stream in "AMS5". The corresponding request returns a 404 error for mp3, aac files. Contrarily the video stream(.mp4, .f4v etc..) returns the corresponding .m3u8 response in a proper fashion.I've looked up discussion threads regarding the similar topic, but they are around 7 years prior to this date. Are there any improvements/solutions to this problem in ams5? Thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated!

Hello everyone,I'm sorry to bother but I have this question that some might find it simple but I have no clue how to figure it out.so I'm a beginner at it so as my friend who uses fms 4.5, so the thing is he want to stream to his local IP and also to Youtube at the same time through rtmp. so is that possible ? and if so then how to achieve that?If its still not clear ...So its like that he streams using adobe flash media encoder to rtmp://localhost/live/StreamName and it will be also sent /stream to youtube.I hope I made it clear. Thanks in advance.

I'm seeing this error flooding my core logs. TSorensonVideoSmartQueue would have dropped H264 sequence headerI'm running FMS 4.5.1 on Windows.  Live streams are sent to it via FMLE and FP11 H.264.  The FMLE streams are not new, but the implementation of FP11 using the H.264 codec is (used to use Sorenson).  The errors used to be rare but now there is a constant stream of them.Any idea what is causing this?
