Hello!I've been posting a few times lately, but I'm almost there now!!So everything works fine, I managed to find how to stream in multi bitrate, when I call the file 1 and 2, I can see the two streams in different bitrates.The problem I have right now is with the manifest, that would dynamically switch bitrates. I always end up with messages like there's a missing URL in the F4M manifest. The URL is present, I'm not quite sure where that message come from... Can someone tell me where that file has to be located though? In the _definst_ directory, or in the webroot...? Or somewhere else? I also tried deleting them all, so I could point out which file is used, but surprisingly, I still get the message that the URL is missing from the manifest. While I deleted manifest files...! Hey,I wonder if some one can advise me regarding a job that i've been considering taking.An old client of mine wants me to create a web application that will include an online video/audio chat between a professional and a client. When both are online and chatting, the application should count the time. once the chatting is officially over, the amount of time should be sent to a php script for payment processing.I've been programming as3.0, php, mysql on a daily basis for the last few years and I consider myself and expert. I've worked on ecommerce, payment gateways, flash-php integration, etc, but I never worked with FMS & video streaming.I'm reluctant to take this job as I'm not sure how steep is the learning curve for FMS3 and video streaming. I'm also not really sure about the job from a legal point of view. I mean, online video chats can get a bit buggy and unstable, how secured are they? Did any one worked on a similar application before and has any suggestions or thoughts ?Th

When i try playing a video on a website on my Windows 7 laptop it show an error "NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound".However when i tired to use a windows vista laptop to watch the same video it could play.Any suggestion to this problem?

Hi,I am not able to decide if I should go for FMS or FMIS. I have to implement DRM, and have decided to use Flash Access for the purpose. There is a considerable price gap between the two products. So can anyone suggest if Flash Access (DRM) will work with FMS or not? Or I have to have FMIS only?thanks,Komal

internet video are requiring me to redownload flash player, i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times, i have gone through interent tools, and i can get the videos to play, is there a bug out there disabling flash player? any ideas?

We have a set of FMS's deployed on Amazon's EC2.  One of the things we want to be able to do is automatically detect when we should start up another FMS instance.  To do that, I've been looking for metrics I could measure on the local FMS box to help me identify "transition" points, e.g., when we should add capacity or remove excess capacity.I ran some load testing to find out where the capacity limits of a particular box, but ran into a couple of problems:   * Traditional system metrics (cpu/memory/run queue length) did not do a great job of predicting when we'd hit a wall.  Load was really the only thing that seemed to climb much and it was only at about 4 (on a 4-core box) when things went south.   * When we *did* hit a wall, it was a pretty sharp cliff.  We seemed to be doing fine at 70+70 streams (~300kbps streams in reflected out) and at 75+75 streams, but when I went to 80+80 streams, BAM!  Things just started unravelling.  With

Hi,We have just moved our FMS3 install from one server to another. Initially all seemed to be fine, we were able to connect to the admin server, our client connected to the FMS server also. However once a connection is established and a stream starts the connection from the client to the server immediately closes (Connection Closed). The same code runs flawlessly on the old server still, so we figured it's a config issue, although no idea where to start?We have checked all IP addresses, domains, SWF Verification, applications paths, file permissions. At a loss right now as to where else to look. No errors in the logs for the disconnects, crossdomain.xml all good too.Any ideas?Thanks.

HiI'm using  Stream Class on Server side to play video.It look like:  myStream.play("sample", 0, -1, true);When server play streaming and publishing my "sample" file, maybe I need using another app call this app, stop playing and play other video ? We are creating a PDF with links to several streaming videos on our FMSS.  We have found links that work when viewed on Windows or Mac, such as this:     rtmp://enterprise-fmss.ket.org/vod/mp4:gedc__000101.mp4But those links don't work on an iPad.  For iOS devices, we use links link this:http://enterprise-fmss.ket.org/hls-vod/gedc_010100_16x9.mp4.m3u8However, neither of those links, or the equivalent hds-vod links work when the PDF is opened on an Android device.  We've tested on an HTC Evo with Acrobat Reader 10.2 (the latest version), and on a Kindle Fire.  Any suggestions?  I've searched Adobe's support offerings and the Internet all morning without finding even tangential mention of this issue.Thanks in advance for any insight or things to test/try.-dave

It might sound dumb, but how can I count the daily number of streams that FMS is serving? I just need a very basic stat on that, only the number of connections per day. Is there any other way than going thru the log to take a look? I just want to know how many people come to watch my content every day.sv

I have tried several times to download Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.235 and each time it says download is successful. However, i am still unable to play youtube videos as it says i have no downloaded Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.235 when in fact i have several times.
