Hi, I am using photoshop 2024.  Recently whenever I try to hide/unhide a layer on files I get a JSON Parse Error it happens everytime, is this a bug or can I do something myself to stop this happening?

So I tried looking through the jsx script listener and photoshop listener does not record enhance image, or anything from adobe camera raw because it's a plugin of sorts. I was wondering is there a work-around way of running super resolution on a bunch of images, by calling it in jsx script. It would be ideal. I understand I can do this with lightroom manually by selecting a load/ennhance images.  Any thoughts, much appreciated. Thanks!

i am using the documentOperations call and i need to change the color of a layer, paint bucket or overlay. The documentation is incomplete. Has anyone done somethign like this and can point me in the right direction?  I want to change the hex color of a layer.

Hello, I have a use case where a person makes changes to a psd file (some text). After that my process continues and I need to know the new text in the psd file. Can I retrieve this text through the Photoshop API? I only found ways to overwrite the current text via the edit text layer endpoint (https://developer.adobe.com/photoshop/photoshop-api-docs/api/#tag/Photoshop/operation/text). I am using Java, might there also be a way to retrieve specific text from the file locally?Thanks everybody.

Is it possible to access app.tools as an array? Hi all, i am write code using javascript and i need to read the SolidColor of the layer but only appear two options to read the ForegroundColor and the Background . I need to the color that appear in the layer created. i attach a screeenshot. Somebody know how to get this color class?

 have been trying to use a photoshop API to modify and upload files to dropbox, and I haven't gotten it to work. I get that the task is successful, but no luck with any changes. Getting an error while using the API. I'm thinking the only way that this isn't working is because I am not referring to the file path accurately. I have a psd file called "Base" though, so I have no clue why it's not authorizing that. Hello, guys. I have asked question about path before and  got helped by this site so I came here with new problem that I faced. so I got successed to making new paths by js code and found several paths on Paths tab.and my goal is  copy the path and paste it on new document but I couldn't find relative reference on site so I wonder if anyone got the Idea with this problem? thank you.

This is a bit backward: var imageHeight = app.activeDocument.height.value; if (imageHeight == 224) { // do stuff }Didn't work for once - I assumed that image dimensions were ints, but there we go... Casting it to an int worked: if (parseInt(imageHeight) == 224) { // do stuff } Case closed. But! Just out on curiousity, how do you get the float value of  app.activeDocument.height??? - it always seems to report it as in int. Assuming that's what's going wrong.I tried casting it as float and multiplying it by 1,000,000.

Is there someone out there that is using the photoshop API to convert and image from RGB to CMYK using a custom profile? If so, could I have a code example please.

Hi guys, I am a scripting newbie, learning UXP scripting for photoshop. I downloaded the UXP Developer Tool (UDT). My photoshop version is 22.2.0. I read on the adobe website (https://developer.adobe.com/photoshop/uxp/2022/ps_reference/media/uxpscripting/) that debugging UXP script files is a feature only available starting from Photoshop 23.5.  Does that mean I have to upgrade to Photoshop 23.5? Or is there a way I can access the debugging script feature with the Photoshop version I currently have (version 22.2.0).

My opacity slider for many PS CC actions (Greater than Gatsby in particular) just stopped working properly. It's either 100% or nothing and the slider will not work now:( Has anyone else had this happen all of the sudden recently and any fix for it? thanks!

I'm looking for advice on how to set up my project to work with typescript. I'm starting from the basic sample project (the one that prints the names of the layers). I followed this guide to get started.I have node and npm working normally.
