Adobe, enough is enough.
I have been working with Photoshop and Adobe products for many years. I started working with Adobe products as a graphic designer then transitioned to 3D Graphics. Still, Photoshop is an everyday tool for me.
But from a while, release after release, the interface changes, the buttons get moved, shortcuts disappear, and more. This is very frustrating for someone who has deadlines and needs to trust its Software. I have to relearn stuff that I really should not think about it.
With the latest releases, Adobe as turned Photoshop into a confusing mess. The handy 3D tools now will be gone, as is with the latest release the Software just crashes when you try to use them, why!!! Hav you explained what will be the solution for this?? What Substance combination should we use to do something that was just a couple of clicks inside Photoshop?
If I use an older version, it just works. But for sure, you (Adobe) will find a way to break it.
Now the save as options, why did they put an extra button?. I really do not understand their explanation; what's wrong with the drop-down menu from before? What 'save as copy' even means?. I thought that's why it was called "save as" Why you guys are breaking things that do not need to be fixed.
How hard is it to decide where to put the OK button? it is all over in your interface. It is like you graved the effect from different company suppliers and just pasted in to Photoshop interface. The OK button and options sometimes are in the top, then at the bottom then on the side?? What the heck.
Brushes, I used just to choose a brush, then paint or erase or dodge, now if I change a bruch it changes the function?? so I can't use some shape brush to pain because by default it only works for erasing?? Why do I have to go deep into setting to change something that used to be fast and efficient? Who are you asking to guide you on these changes??. Why do you just listen to your users? The ones that pay for the Software and transform it into an industry standard?. Remember, we can change that, and we will if Phosothop gives more problems than solutions, the same thing for other Adobe products. You are very aware of the usage between Premiere and Blackmagic Resolve. I am part of an 200+ people company. I can easily Talk with IT and just get ridge of our costly Adobe subscription and go with other suppliers. Why did you put us into this dilemma?
I am also a heavy user of Substance products, already confused with the changes you have made. Your renaming lineup, bravo, so Adobe. You already killed a simple but powerful app. S2B, why?!
It is like you are looking for a way to just frustrate your users. But, you are getting very good at it, let me tell you.
Yes, this is a rant; yes, these are only complaints; no, I am not a spoiled self-entitled person, rather the opposite. Just a regular Joe that needs to get things done. I need to create and just keep moving forward, and you are just blocking the path of many creative professionals.
Tell your Share holders, that in the close future, you will need to buy many competitor and new software, because that's where your previews user base will be, always trying to move away from you.
