Adobe Lens Profile Creator Exposes Information

Hi,

I was casually using ALPC to make lens profile for friend.

I was also asked to help him pull something from metadata, but after some actions.
The folder named "Sample pictures" has JPEGs inside.

These JPEGs do not have their metadata removed, exposing info such as:

  • Serial Number of the Lens
  • Lens Model
  • Serial Number of the Camera
  • Camera Model
  • Other shooting information

Note: This is a post made to warn. The noticing was accidental and i don't support stealing information and abusing serial numbers.

@SleeplessEditor

There are several ways to remove metadata. See this thread for a few ideas — or use a search engine to look for others.

The folder "sample images" is installed with every ALPC. It is downloaded with the app and contains images with metadata
