Can I diable the generative expand option on the geometry panel in Camera RAW?

With the recent Camera RAW 18.4.1 update, a generative expand feature has been added to the geometry panel. Now, when I hit enter after setting alignment it starts trying to generative fill the image instead of saving my settings and exiting Camera RAW. Is there a way to disable the generative fill part of the panel or bypass it? It’s a minute detail, but I’m processing a lot of photos and generative fill now prioritizing the panel (when I almost never use it) and having to mouse back over to “ok” when I’m flying through on shortcuts it’s throwing me off.

After using geometry, if any transparency is in the image, then the ‘Generate’ button is highlighted and will respond to ‘Enter’.
The easiest way to bypass that button and go straight to opening the image in Photoshop, is to use the shortcut Ctrl+O to open the image.
Alternatively if you just want to go back to the color settings panel use the shortcut Ctrl+2 and then use Enter (or Ctrl+O) to open the image in Photoshop.

I don’t believe there’s currently a preference to disable Generative Expand in the Geometry panel or restore the previous Enter key behavior.

Since this was introduced in Camera Raw 18.4.1, it would be helpful if you could confirm whether the issue started immediately after updating. If so, it may be an intentional UI change rather than a bug.

Could you also let us know:

Which operating system are you using (Windows or macOS)?
Does pressing Enter always trigger Generative Expand, or only when the button has focus?

If there isn’t currently an option to change this behavior, I agree it interrupts an established keyboard workflow for high-volume editing and would be worth Adobe considering in a future update.

The issue started with the update, and I’m on Windows 11. If I hit tab, it will move focus to “projection”, but pressing enter reverts it to Generative Expand.

To clarify, this is not the initial opening of Camera Raw, but when I re-open it on a flattened jpeg after working in photoshop.
