Edit as Layers in Photoshop Glitch

I stack jpgs in LR, & use Open as Layers in PS to create a layered tif. The PS screen blinks for each layer, then the layers load as normal. This doubles the time it takes to load layers. Rec attached:https://youtu.be/iNvZn40d0EM

The images get opened and their content duplicated into one file, similar to Photoshop’s »Load Files into Stack« and Bridge’s »Load Files into Photoshop Layers« so I fail to see an issue here.

If you disable Application Frame do the image windows appear on screen?

Edit: Sorry, I might have misjudged, but I am unsure if the images are actually all opened/closed before the actual process starts (including opening and closing them again) or if it’s just faulty displaying – it might be easier to judge without Application Frame.

My original post was being limited to 250 characters, so I couldn’t dsecribe the issue properly. I’m a real estate photographer. I stack multiple jpegs in Lightroom, and use the “edit as layers in Photoshop” to create a multi-layered file which is then edited using masks. Prior to 27.8, the process was smooth - as soon as it started, the layers appeared one by one straight away. Now, the frame blinks as it’s first prepping the layers, then loads the layers one by one - taking twice as long. It’s not a massive issue, but something has changed. I’ll probably revert to 27.7 in the meantime.
