Feezes while playing with color palettes (Color balance and Selective colors)

While working in Photoshop, it freezes when you open the color balance and selective color panels. The interesting thing is that it doesn't seem locked in the finder. But he doesn't do anything. It freezes. I can switch to other programs. But I have to close it.
