Question

How can I save my project so that I can edit it using multiple devices, but with the same account and not at the same time?

Hello, my name is Hasan. I would like to ask for some guidance regarding how I can manage my projects across different devices. At home, I primarily work on a desktop PC where most of my projects are stored. However, there are times when I need to continue working on these projects using my laptop—for example, when I am traveling or simply away from my desk. Up until now, I have been relying on an external hard drive to transfer files between the two devices, but this process has become inconvenient and time‑consuming.

What I would like to know is whether it is possible to move my project files to the cloud so that I can access and edit them seamlessly from both my PC and my laptop, while using the same Adobe account. My main concern is ensuring that the projects remain synchronized and accessible, without the need to manually copy files back and forth. Ideally, I would like a solution that allows me to continue working on my projects from whichever device I choose, without worrying about version conflicts or losing progress.

Could you please advise me on the best way to set this up using Adobe’s cloud services, or recommend an alternative approach that would allow me to achieve this workflow? Thank you in advance for your help.

I was also wondering about another workflow option. If I create a Premiere Team Project, would it be possible to store the associated media files in Dropbox instead of relying solely on Adobe’s cloud storage? My idea is to keep all the project files synchronized through Dropbox so that I can access them from both my PC and laptop, while still using the same Adobe account.!--startfragment>

Do you think this setup would work smoothly, or are there potential issues I should be aware of—for example, with file versioning, collaboration features, or performance? I would really appreciate your thoughts on whether Dropbox can be a reliable solution for managing Premiere Team Projects across multiple devices.

I'm trying to save a Premiere Pro project and I expect it won't work.

You posted in the Photoshop forum. Please ask your question in the Premiere Pro forum. Normally I would move your post for you, but I am not able to do that yet in the new forums.
